About Our Caregivers

At A First Name Basis Home Care, we select Caregivers who are passionate about providing in home care to those in need on a daily basis. We thoroughly screen our experienced staff of Home Health Aides, Certified Nursing Assistants, Licensed Vocational Nurses, and professional Caregivers with our 21 Point Screening Process. With our Caregiver Compatibility Guarantee, we take into consideration 5 dimensions of compatibility because we understand that choosing the right Caregiver to care for you or your loved one is an important decision.

Caregiver Compatibility

A First Name Basis Home Care has clients of all types across the personality spectrum.  We will do what we can to match a caregiver with the personality suitable for the client.  If, by any chance, our senior clients feel more comfortable with another Caregiver, we are happy to re-evaluate their present situation at no additional charge and find a different caregiver for them.

Bonded & Insured

A First Name Basis Home Care bonds and insures all of our Caregivers. Bonded and insured Caregivers protects seniors and their families against any potential loss or liability lawsuits.

Oftentimes, homeowner’s insurance does not fully cover job-related injuries, unless specific requests are made. All A First Name Basis Home Care Caregivers are considered to be company employees and are covered by general and professional liability insurance, along with worker’s compensation. A First Name Basis Home Care Caregivers who provide transportation are required to have a valid driver’s license, personal auto insurance, Current State stickers and Motor Vehicle Report check. Our company also provides a second layer of protection with our non-owned auto insurance coverage. If an accident was to occur during our Caregiver’s visit to your home, the costs incurred would be covered.

All of our Caregivers are bonded, so that, if there were any theft or damaged property, you can be compensated.
